We gathered at Andromeda to welcome each other and start this first fermenting data workshop with a welcome tea of ginger and this year elderberry sirup. Before going off to Sigrids Stue's garden, only few blocks away, Aysha told us about the current development of Gellerup district. This western district of the city of Aarhus, originally built in the 1960s as one of the Danish social housing projects is currently being developed: some buildings are replaced by new ones, and many families who have lived here for decades are facing prospect of relocation.

On the way to Sigrids Stue we were able to see the sites being developed while in the nytehaven Grete told us about this garden which has been tended to by different families and women from the neighbouring blocks. We collected some kale and radishes.

Outside of Sigrids Stue, herb garden and nursery for abandoned plants.
